Cantor Jake works closely with each student and family, providing personalized preparation and officiating the service. Lessons may include Hebrew reading, prayer learning, and Torah and Haftarah trope, adapted to the student’s pace and way of learning.

A residency might include a musical Shabbat, concert, adult-learning session, family program, youth workshop, collaborative rehearsal, or conversation about Jewish music and spiritual life.

Through music, storytelling, humor, original skits, and active participation, Cantor Jake creates programs that help children and families experience Jewish life as vibrant, welcoming, and personally meaningful.

Programs can be developed for religious schools, family services, holidays, camps, youth groups, and community celebrations.
